GRIEF COCOON TERMS AND CONDITIONS

These Terms and Conditions apply to your purchase of GRIEF COCOON event with TANYA WILKINSON of GREEN IN THE GREY LIMITED. These terms cannot be varied and in purchasing this event, you will be deemed to have accepted these terms. Please read them carefully as they affect your rights and liabilities under law and set out the terms under which GREEN IN THE GREY LIMITED provide services to you, as a purchaser of our GRIEF COCOON online event.

These terms are subject to any rights you have under consumer law to which we are bound and which cannot be waived by contract.

1. These terms

1.1 What these terms cover. These are the terms and conditions on which we supply services to you. 

1.2 Why you should read them. Please read these terms carefully before you purchase GRIEF COCOON. These terms tell you who we are, how we will provide services to you, how you and we may change or end the contract, what to do if there is a problem and other important information. If you think that there is a mistake in these terms, please contact us to discuss.

2. Information about us and how to contact us

2.1 Who we are. We are GREEN IN THE GREY LIMITED a Company registered in England and Wales. Our company registration number is 13622854. 

2.2 How to contact us. You can contact us by writing to us at tanya@greeninthegrey.com.

2.3 How we may contact you. If we have to contact you we will do so by writing to you at the email address you have provided. 

2.4 "Writing" includes emails. When we use the words "writing" or "written" in these terms, this includes emails.

2.5 “Group” is defined as current GRIEF COCOON participants. When we use the words “Group” in these terms, this includes current participants in the online event and replay. When we use the word group in these terms, this does not include past participants.

3. The online Event

3.1 By purchasing Grief Cocoon, you are agreeing to these terms. By entering into this programme, you are responsible for your own outcome from this programme and for your self care throughout. We do not guarantee any level of success or positive outcome from this programme. We are not responsible for any health issues (emotional, physical, mental, spiritual) in connection with this programme.

All information, content and tools provided are general information and guidance and are not bespoke to the individual. No content or material should be construed as medical or psychological help or advice.

3.2 Your responsibilities

The Grief Cocoon Event is a supportive group experience intended to provide space for reflection, embodiment practices, guided meditation, and facilitated discussion around themes of grief. It is not counselling, psychotherapy, psychological intervention, or medical treatment.

While the event may evoke emotional insight or personal reflection, you acknowledge that you are solely responsible for your own wellbeing, choices, and actions during and after the event. Your level of participation is voluntary, and any outcomes arising from your engagement with the content and activities are your responsibility.

All information, guidance, and materials shared during the event are for educational purposes only. They do not constitute medical advice and must not be relied upon as a substitute for therapy, mental health care, or medical treatment of any kind. By registering for this event, you confirm that you will not use the event in place of counselling or medical treatment, and that you understand the facilitators are not acting in a clinical capacity.

If you are currently receiving treatment or support from a doctor, therapist, counsellor, or other healthcare professional, you confirm that you have discussed your participation in this event with that professional and that they are aware of and supportive of your attendance.

If you are unsure whether this experience is suitable for you, please consult a qualified medical or mental health professional before participating.

3.2 Intellectual Property. We retain and reserve all of our copyrights. You might be provided with content including video workshops, audio, visual and written content. The intellectual property rights and copyrights connected with all content vest with and are owned by us. You have the right to use these materials only for your personal study and development.

3.3. What’s included

You are purchasing a Grief Cocoon online event ticket consisting of individual access to 1x live 90 minute workshop plus replay and other video, PDF and audio content that might be shared. We reserve the right to make alterations to the programme benefits to improve our services.

Live workshops take place via Zoom and are recorded and will be shared within 24 hours. By participating you consent to being included in the recording. If you do not want to be included in the recording then please keep your camera off and do not share anything that you do not wish to be spoken by the host in the Zoom chat.

Email customer services support in-between during business hours (Monday - Friday 10:00 until 16:30). We will aim to respond within 2 business days.

4. Community guidelines

4.1 My intention is to create a space in our live workshops. All Participants must adhere to the following community guidelines:

  • To be polite and respectful of others.

  • To come with an open mind and an open heart.

  • To listen to the stories of others with compassion and non judgement.

  • To appreciate the variety of perspectives and lived experiences within the community.

  • To take total responsibility for your own mental health, feelings and reactions to anything said or shared.

  • To maintaining confidentiality for any personal information or stories that are shared by the Group.

  • Not share or post any spoken or written words, content, links or other materials that are offensive, threatening, defamatory, pornographic, indecent, abusive, obscene, seditious, liable to incite hatred (including but not limited to racism, homophobia, transphobia, sexism, disability discrimination and religious discrimination).

  • Not post any words, content or materials that would be considered a criminal offence, give rise to civil lability, or infringe a law or the rights of any third party in the UK or any other country in the world.

  • Not post any words, content or materials for which you do not have the necessary licenses and/or approvals.

  • Not post any words, content or materials that are harmful in a technical sense, including but not limited to computer viruses, malware or harmful data.

  • Not share any live workshop content or other VOD, audio, PDF or other content from the Programme with any third party outside the Group.

4.3 If we deem your behaviour offensive or inappropriate, or in breach of any of our terms and guidelines, we reserve the right to remove you from Grief Cocoon with immediate effect. You will not be entitled to a refund.

4.4 We are not responsible for the views or opinions shared by any Particpants. We will not be held responsible for the behaviour or actions of any Participants.

4.5 We will not be responsible for the action of any Participants, including any information that has been disclosed by any Participants based on information shared within the Programme.

5. Lateness, postponement and delays outside our control

5.1 Lateness. Please try to arrive for live workshop by the agreed start time otherwise you might miss part of the experience. If you do miss anything, don’t worry. Full replays will be shared within 24 hours for you to catch up.

5.2 Postponement. Should an unforeseen circumstance require the postponement of any live session, they will be rescheduled as soon as possible.

5.3 Your rights if we suspend the services. We will contact you in advance to tell you we will be suspending the services, unless the problem is urgent or an emergency. If we have to suspend the services we will adjust the timings so that you will still receive the 6 weeks of Programme content.

6. Data protection

6.1. We will not share your personal information without your consent, unless required by law. We will always respect your privacy and comply with United Kingdom Data Protection Act.

6.2 How we will use your personal information. We will use the personal information you provide  to:

  • provide the services;

  • process your payment for such services; and

  • to share writing, resources or inform you about similar services that we provide, but you may stop receiving these communications at any time by opting out or contacting us.

  • In accordance with our privacy policy that can be found on our website at www.greeninthegrey.com.

7. The technical services

7.1 We reserve the right to edit or amend any video content including the live workshop recording.

7.2 Programme content is for your individual use only. You must not share them with any other individual or organisation.

7.3 By using the website, you confirm that your data is accurate and agree to us handling your data in accordance with the terms in our privacy policy. (link to https://www.tanyawilkinson.co.uk/privacy-policy)

8. Refunds

8.1 Refunds are available for 48 hours after purchase, provided the purchase was made more than 48 hours before the start time of the live session. Where a purchase is made within 48 hours of the live session, refunds are available up to the start time of the live session only. After the live session begins, no refunds will be issued under any circumstances.

No refunds will be provided for non-attendance. It is the participant’s responsibility to manage their schedule and availability. Plus all participants have access to the replay. To request a refund within the permitted time period, please contact tanya@greeninthegrey.com.

9. Limit on our responsibility to you

9.1 Except for any legal responsibility that we cannot exclude in law, we are not legally responsible for any losses that arise directly, indirectly or consequentially from your participation in the programme.

9.2 Our total liability to you is limited to the amount of fees paid by you for the services and you confirm your understanding that the price of our services is calculated bearing in mind this limit on our liability.

By registering for the event, you acknowledge that your participation is voluntary and that you are responsible for your own physical, emotional, and mental wellbeing at all times. No warranty or guarantee is made regarding any specific outcome or result from attending the event.

10. We may end the contract if you break it.

10.1 We may end the contract at any time by writing to you if you break any terms contained within this contract.

10.2 If for reasons that we determine it is inappropriate for your participation to continue we reserve the right to end the contract forthwith by notice in writing. In that event we will refund the fees for any time duration of the programme that has not passed.

11. If there is a problem with the services

12. Other important terms

12.1 Which laws apply to this contract and where you may bring legal proceedings. These terms are governed by English law and any legal proceedings in respect of the services must be brought in the courts of England and Wales, which shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
